What is the legal status of cannabis in Arizona?
In 2010, 50.13% of voters passed the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act, allowing the possession of up to 2.5 ounces of cannabis for registered patients. The law also concedes for the cultivation of up to 12 plants by a person who has an Arizona Registry ID Card if there is not a registered dispensary within 25 miles of their place of residence.
In order to obtain an Arizona Registry ID Card, a patient must be diagnosed with any of the broad range of debilitating or chronic conditions listed below. There is no age restriction on use. This permitted use includes any and all CBD-dominant products. CBD oil derived from Industrial Hemp is 100% legal in all 50 states, as this plant never has more than trace amounts of THC, but is generally rich in CBD and other cannabinoids.
